Teen Talk

Take a Deep Breath Over Summer

Are you about to start high school? Perhaps you’re deciding what subjects to choose next term. You could be about to start an apprenticeship, take a gap year or go to uni.

Have you got worries about friendships or maybe you’ve had some bad news recently, maybe you’re exploring your life, faith, meaning.

Whatever it is, we believe talking together can boost our confidence. When you realise others are or have gone through similar experiences, it can help to take a weight off our shoulders. Let’s be there for each other.

On Tuesdays starting from Tuesday 18th July until Tuesday 5th September, we will be meeting together in the The Mill Youth Café (top floor) at 3:15-4:45pm to play some discussion games, hear stories and have opportunities to chat together about whatever you want, nothing is too much or too silly.

Please know that everyone is welcome, there are no judgements or criticism encouraged at The Mill Youth Centre. There is no agenda from us, your youth worker team, other than to let you talk, vent, decide for yourself. We understand that you might have some questions. If you need to ask some questions, please talk to one of our youth workers, Ian & Sharon or you can email us: admin@themillbramhall.com or get in touch via our Instagram: @themillbramhall.

If you haven’t been to The Mill Youth Centre before, in order to have free admission, we need some details. Please have an adult (parent/guardian/carer etc.) sign you up here for access. You will not be able to attend if we do not have the appropriate information, in case of emergency.
